After decades in the business working as an artist at companies like ILM on projects such as Saving Private Ryan, Star Wars Episode I, and Jurassic Park III, Gonzalo reconnected with his Spanish roots and took a role as Producer, and later Executive Producer, at El Ranchito.

Fourteen years and an Emmy Award later — for ABC/Apple TV's "5 Days at Memorial", alongside titles such as Game of Thrones — he is, together with his colleagues (and friends) David, Laura, Rocío and Óscar, excited to be spearheading the effort at METRÓPOLIS, his new VFX home in Madrid.

With a career spanning from VFX pioneer in the Spanish visual effects industry during the 1990s to the latest prime-time productions, David's trademark has always been his love for the craft — both the cinematic experience on screen and the journey of being part of the teams that bring it to life.

Laura Muro is a VFX production and operations specialist with over 15 years of international industry experience. Throughout her career at studios including MPC, Framestore, The Mill Film, Axis Animation and El Ranchito, she has developed expertise in production management, resource planning and workflow optimization. As part of the founding team at METRÓPOLIS VFX, she focuses on bidding, operational efficiency, and studio-wide processes.

Her credits include internationally acclaimed productions such as The Jungle Book, Exodus, Cats, and SEE, alongside numerous high-profile film, television, and real-time projects.

With 10+ years of experience, Rocío brings a strong production mindset and a hands-on understanding of end-to-end creative workflows.

She focuses on keeping all departments aligned and projects running smoothly from concept to delivery — always with a practical, solution-driven approach, and as little drama as the VFX world allows.

With over 25 years of experience, Óscar has worked across all disciplines, initially specializing in leading 2D compositing teams and working as a VFX Supervisor for the past 8 years on major productions such as Game of Thrones, Halo and See.
